Project Cost Calculator
Planning your project is easy with our built-in Cost Calculator. We understand that budgeting is a crucial part of any renovation, so we’ve provided a tool to estimate how many panels you’ll need and the total cost for your walls. Here’s how it works and how you can use it to plan:
How to use the Project Cost Calculator:
-
Measure Your Wall Area: Use a tape measure to find the height and width of each wall you plan to cover. If you have multiple walls or rooms, you can calculate them one at a time. Enter the height and width into the calculator (in either feet/inches or meters – our tool accepts both for convenience).
-
Calculate Panel Requirement: The calculator will compute the area of your wall and then determine the number of 3’x9’ panels required. Each panel covers about 27 square feet (approximately 2.5 square meters). The tool automatically factors in an extra ~10% for wastage and cutting, ensuring you have enough material to complete the job. It will round up to the nearest whole panel since panels can’t be purchased in fractions.
-
See the Estimated Cost: Our panels are priced at €120 per panel. Once the calculator knows how many panels you need, it will multiply by €120 to give you the total material cost. For example, if your wall is 12 ft wide and 9 ft tall (108 sq ft), the calculator will suggest 4 panels and a total of €480. This cost is for the panels themselves. (Note: Any trims, adhesives, or optional installation accessories will be a minor additional cost and can be quoted separately.)
-
Adjust and Refine: You can add multiple walls or rooms in the calculator – it will sum up the total panels and cost for your entire project. If you find the cost higher than expected, consider using panels on a feature wall instead of all walls, or spacing panels with other materials. Conversely, you might decide to extend paneling to more areas once you see how cost-effective it is per square foot (approximately €13.33 per sq ft at list price).
-
Get a Quote: The calculator provides an estimate for your planning purposes. For a detailed quote, you can submit the calculated result to us directly through the website. Simply click “Get Quote” after seeing the result, fill in your contact details, and our team will reach out to confirm finish choices, any trim/adhesive needs, shipping costs, and applicable discounts. We often provide volume discounts for larger orders – for instance, projects requiring over 30 panels may receive a price break, which we’ll factor into your official quote.
-
Project Planning Tips: We recommend ordering a few extra panels (or at least one) beyond the exact calculation for any unexpected cuts or future replacements. Our calculator’s 10% waste allowance usually covers this, but every project is unique. Also, consider panel orientation – while 3ft x 9ft is typical vertically, panels can also be installed horizontally for a different visual effect. The calculator assumes vertical placement; if you plan to run panels horizontally along a shorter wall height, let us know and we’ll adjust the figures accordingly.
Using the Project Cost Calculator gives you a transparent way to budget and eliminates surprises. It’s a great first step towards making your dream wall a reality. We encourage you to play around with it – change the wall dimensions, try including multiple areas – and see how affordable and impactful C&R Signature Panels can be.

C&R Signature Panels vs Traditional Finishes
Premium finishes, shorter programmes, and predictable costs — now with clear notes on fire safety and durability.
- Panel: 1100 mm × 2800 mm × 5 mm (≈3.08 m² coverage) at €110 each.
- Installation: €100/hour (experienced crew); typical waste/offcuts ~10% already reflected.
- Programme: Onsite time incl. any drying/return visits (for painting/tiling).
- Fire & safety: Reaction-to-fire/emissions depend on specific finish/profile and install method — confirm at order.

Fire safety (reaction to fire) Indicative; depends on finish/profile |
Fire-retardant core • reaction-to-fire class varies by model; confirm at order. Suitable for most residential and many commercial interiors when installed per guidance. | Paint film itself is thin; overall performance depends on substrate and system. Not a fire-retardant lining by default. | Non-combustible tile; note adhesives/grouts and substrates still matter for overall system performance. | Combustible timber/MDF unless treated; specialist FR grades required for higher classifications. | Combustible polymer; can contribute to smoke; check local requirements for use/coverage. |
Durability (impact & scratch) | High • tough decorative surface; good impact & scratch resistance for busy areas. | Low–Mid • scuffs and chips show; touch-ups needed over time. | High on tile face • grout lines can stain or crack; chips difficult to repair. | Mid • dents/scratches possible; paint can mark. | Low–Mid • surface can scratch; joins may loosen with knocks. |
